So many wins in one day!

I woke up early today to go with my dad to Camp Tecumseh to pick up Maria! I have missed her, and it was great seeing her. And Kait again! Although, I was very sad not to see Sarah Wright. Being back at the very best place in the world, even if it was just for 30 minutes, is always a win. No one can fully understand the love for that place until they have experienced it themselves. So many great memories have came from my summers at camp:

1) the blue powerade incident.
2) sleeping out on the suspension bridge.
3) being the only one to wake up from the raccoon in our cabin. twice.
4) swing dancing clinic!
5) dancing on the longhouse porch in the rain with Jacqueline and Lauren.
6) our cabin finding the honker during gold rush.
7) Beef's shorts falling down during capture the flag.
8) the song She Will Be Loved for devotions.
9) Songfest!
10) winning the blob part of lake olympics.
11) getting emails from Reggie Nute!
12) Jacqueline dropping brownie on our walk back from a sleep out in the three tree house.
13) sleeping out in the nature center and being scared of the animals staring at us.
14) asking each other what we call our grandparents: grampie, dando, yaya, papoo.
15) so many acts of kindness and being third!
16) trick or treating to other cabins.
17) having a rave though our next door cabin.
18) planning and giving our own devos as CILTs.
19) Sarah Wright reading us Cold Tangerines.

We rushed home, which I feel bad about. Then I got changed and went to Sarah's. Soon after, we headed for Indy! Clancy, Bailey, Sarah, and I!

Our first stop was the parking garage. Then we walked down the street to Circle Centre Mall!

We went to, and bought stuff from, a lot of stores including: Forever 21, Victorias Secret, American Eagle, H&M, and Delias. I love all of the sandals and colors and tank tops and sun dresses. Almost everything that I bought was on sale. I'd consider that a win. I almost never pay full price for clothes-just not worth it. It was also fun seeing other Cville fans walking around the mall before the game. Then, for lunch we ate at Auntie Anne's pretzels.

We went back to the parking garage to put our bags in the car, then walked to Victory Field for the game!

We got to the game early this time! Thanks to Clancy, we got first row seats!! It was great because no one was in front of us and we had a foot rest.

Our boys all seemed to play a really good game today! Especially Jordan Jackson, Chris Minks, and Alex Ehrlich, and Cory Rice! We ended up winning 8-3! We won state! Yayyyy!

Also, thankfully the rain held off until the very end of the game. But the dark clouds reflecting in the hotel did look really cool.

After the boys were presented with the trophy, and while we waited, we took lots of pictures! Lots of pictures with friends and showing off our tank tops that we made.

We sang along loud to the radio on the car ride back, stopped at Burger King, and went to Justin's basketball game at North. His team won also. By like 40 points. But the game was just summer league, not as big deal as our boys winning state!!

Clancy dropped us off at our homes and I have been hanging out at my dad's house since. I am so thankful for the such great friends that I have, and for all the fun I had today. Life is worth celebrating. Every day. But especially days like this one!
